My current 26 year job was a part time interim gig that became a "career" under weird circumstances. We have no clue what we will end up doing, we just have to stay humble enough and patient enough to work at working. May God bless you.Steve Robinsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04319784922747041297noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31951197.post-54689576585778971012009-01-04T07:22:00.000-05:002009-01-04T07:22:00.000-05:00I once, after years of dedication, was terminated ...I once, after years of dedication, was terminated from a job I carnally loved. Although, at the time, it was very painful, the Lord God of Heaven has shown me it was a true blessing from Him.

I often said my world was turned upside down. The truth is God turned my world right side up. It was painful, yet very rewarding. God used that event, to show Himself to me through Christ, my Lord. I hope I am a better man for God because of it.

Changed Like SaulAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31951197.post-79186309216418141042009-01-03T05:16:00.000-05:002009-01-03T05:16:00.000-05:00Continued prayers ascending from Down Under. I have stayed out of it and tomorrow I will walk away a free men. Monday I sign up for unemployment for the first time in my life.

We are anxious for the future but know in whose hands we reside. Already I feel the burden lifting. No more pagers. No more calls at all hours forcing me to respond to scenes I could never have imagined. No more having to see, carry or cry over broken, twisted or burned bodies.

I will be doing a lot of writing now and finally take seriously this craft I should have more fully embraced years ago. But I believe this job with all its myriad components and with how it ended both for me and the sheriff was the seasoning I needed. We shall see. I will post here and at the other blog but most of the writing will not appear here.

Thank you for your support and your prayers. The Bosom Serpenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02714508633578237489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31951197.post-70697318112000218682008-12-31T16:10:00.000-05:002008-12-31T16:10:00.000-05:00Any news yet?Any news yet?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11203397798908769114noreply@blogger.com
